We have a new troop member!

Our troop has a new member.Her name is Megan.

Nov. 7 and 8 we went to the Earth and Space overnight at the Caldwell Nature Center. We did a ton of experiments. Some of them were: "Which syrup would make the best bubbles?" "Which fabric would heat up or cool down faster?" "The Water Cycle" and we also got to bring home the materials to make our own crystals. The overnight was very fun, had a load of things for us to do, and we never a had a boring moment!
Last meeting we finished our parade decorations. The Christmas parade was very cold but had
a lot of support!!!! It also spread a lot of Christmas cheer! There was a lot of other floats besides
ours!!!!
Our next meeting is Jan. 6, 4:45PM, KS has snack.
January 10 meeting at Shawnee Springs and Arby's, bring money
January 20th meeting, 4:45, KM has snack.

We now have a cookie mom!

WE NEED A COOKIE MOM-Some one to oversee and handle our troop cookie sales.We can't sell cookies with out one.You MUST a registered Girl Scout.Cookie training is Monday December 1,2008 at the Harrison Senior Center at 7:15.Please let me know if you will do it.

Christmas Parade 2008

The Brownies are going to be in the Christmas Parade in Harrison Ohio. Saturday December 6th, line up is at 10:00 A.M. As some of you know we sent out and ''Urgent'' e-mail once learned of the date.Shari will be in Florida(the IRS is sending her)and I have a senior bus trip that day and
I have to work.We have asked that one registered parents step up and take care of the girls and the float.The float can be a truck or a trailer,which the girls will decorate.If you are not able to help I will send an e-mail to the other troops to see if our girls can join them.We hate to see them miss this event;in the past it has been one of their favorites.We will take care of the registration for the parade and decorating of the float, we just need someone to borrow a float for us and to make sure our girls are OK during the parade.We anticipate the person in charge having 5 or 6 from the troop.Please do not tell your brownie,we do not want themdisappointed if nothing comes through.

Newport Aquarium - A funny fish.

The troop went to the Newport Aquarium on September 26th.

I think this fish is funny because of its nose. I think that this fish looks like a witch.

The meeting on 06 May, 2008

At our last meeting we got to meet 6th graders!They are Juniors. We made flowers with tissue paper and pipe cleaners. It was f-u-n!
